Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new client relationships through community events, referrals, and branch networking in the Sarasota area
• Guide clients through the home lending process, from initial consultation to loan closing, ensuring a seamless experience
• Analyze client financial profiles to recommend tailored mortgage products, including fixed-rate, adjustable-rate, and jumbo loans from JP Morgan Chase
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals by leveraging Chase's market-leading home lending solutions
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and branch teams to ensure timely loan approvals and compliance with regulatory standards
• Educate clients on financing options, interest rates, and affordability to build trust and drive satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records in Chase's lending systems and adhere to all ethical lending practices
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on industry trends and JP Morgan Chase product enhancements
• Identify cross-selling opportunities for other Chase banking and wealth management services
• Monitor market conditions in Sarasota to provide proactive advice on optimal timing for home purchases

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or home financing within the financial services industry
• Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive lending environment
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID and HMDA compliance
• Strong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting processes, and mortgage products offered by JP Morgan Chase
• Ability to work independently in a branch setting while collaborating with broader Chase teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
