Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and referral sources to generate mortgage leads
  • Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to recommend suitable home lending products tailored to client needs
  • Guide clients through the entire mortgage origination process, from pre-qualification to loan closing
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to ensure seamless loan approvals
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by delivering exceptional service and building long-term client loyalty
  • Stay updated on market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes to provide expert advice
  • Utilize JP Morgan Chase's CRM systems to track leads, manage pipelines, and report on performance metrics
  • Educate clients on financing options, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans specific to the Scottsdale market
  • Ensure all lending activities comply with federal and state regulations, maintaining the highest ethical standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, sales, or financial services origination
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive lending environment
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and compliance standards such as TILA and RESPA
  • Strong understanding of the home lending process from application to closing
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-focused setting
