Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads for home lending products, including mortgages, refinances, and home equity loans
  • Conduct comprehensive client consultations to assess financial needs and recommend tailored lending solutions from JP Morgan Chase's portfolio
  • Guide clients through the entire loan origination process, from application to closing, ensuring a seamless and compliant experience
  • Collaborate with internal partners such as underwriters, processors, and branch teams to expedite loan approvals and resolve issues
  • Achieve or exceed individual and team sales goals while adhering to all regulatory and ethical standards
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships to generate referrals and repeat business within the Sunnyvale community
  • Stay abreast of market trends, interest rates, and JP Morgan Chase product updates to provide expert advice

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, home equity, or consumer lending within the financial services industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration, or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive lending environment
  • Strong understanding of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID and HMDA compliance
  • Excellent credit history and ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet client needs
