Key Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, and maintain a robust pipeline of mortgage leads through networking, referrals, and community events in the Tampa Bay NE region
• Conduct comprehensive client consultations to assess financial needs and recommend tailored home lending solutions, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
• Guide clients through the entire loan origination process, from application to closing, ensuring seamless coordination with underwriters and processors
• Deliver exceptional customer service to achieve high client satisfaction scores and foster long-term relationships for repeat business and referrals
• Analyze client financial profiles, including credit reports, income verification, and asset documentation, to structure competitive loan offers
• Collaborate with branch teams at the Westchase Countryway location to cross-sell additional JP Morgan Chase products like banking and investment services
• Stay abreast of market trends, interest rate fluctuations, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and mitigate risks
• Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas while adhering to all compliance standards and ethical lending practices
• Participate in local real estate events and partnerships to build brand visibility for JP Morgan Chase in the Tampa community
• Mentor junior advisors and contribute to team training on best practices in home lending

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or home financing within the financial services industry
• Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive lending environment
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID and HMDA
• Strong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting processes, and loan structuring
• Ability to work independently in a branch setting while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
• Experience working in a high-volume branch like those in the Tampa Bay area
• Familiarity with JP Morgan Chase's proprietary lending platforms and tools
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to serve diverse client bases
• Previous leadership experience mentoring junior lending advisors
