Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and referral sources to generate mortgage leads in the White Plains, NY market
  • Conduct comprehensive financial consultations to assess client needs and recommend tailored home lending solutions, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Guide clients through the entire home financing process, from application to closing, ensuring a seamless and first-class experience
  • Analyze client financial profiles, including income, assets, credit history, and debt-to-income ratios, to determine loan eligibility and structure optimal financing options
  • Collaborate with JP Morgan Chase underwriting teams, processors, and third-party partners to expedite loan approvals while adhering to all regulatory requirements
  • Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly origination targets, contributing to branch and regional goals
  • Stay abreast of market trends, interest rate fluctuations, and JP Morgan Chase product updates to provide expert advice and competitive offerings
  • Ensure full compliance with federal and state lending laws, including Truth in Lending Act (TILA), RESPA, and fair lending practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, home financing, or related financial services roles
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration, or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive lending environment
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and compliance standards in the U.S. financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting processes, and risk assessment for home loans
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing role with a focus on high-volume transactions
