Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through community events, referrals, and digital marketing in the Katy Marketplace area
  • Guide clients through the home lending process, from pre-qualification to closing, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience
  • Analyze client financial profiles to recommend suitable mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and processors, to expedite loan approvals and resolve issues
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals by originating high-quality loans that align with JP Morgan Chase's risk standards
  • Stay updated on market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes to provide expert advice to clients
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads using JP Morgan's CRM tools and relationship management strategies
  • Ensure all lending activities comply with JP Morgan Chase policies, federal regulations, and ethical standards
  • Participate in local networking events to enhance JP Morgan Chase's brand presence in the Katy, TX market

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage origination or home lending within the financial services industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in Texas, with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in residential lending
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including TRID and HMDA
  • Experience using CRM systems and loan origination software in a banking environment
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
