Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable enterprise architectures for JP Morgan Chase's core banking and investment platforms
• Manage and mentor a team of architects and engineers, fostering innovation in financial technology solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to align architecture with strategic goals in wealth management and corporate banking
• Ensure architectural designs comply with global financial regulations and internal security standards
• Oversee the integration of emerging technologies like AI and machine learning into trading and risk assessment systems
• Drive agile project delivery, including roadmap planning and resource allocation for architecture initiatives
• Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on best practices for system scalability and resilience
• Identify and mitigate architectural risks in high-stakes financial environments
• Partner with global teams to standardize architecture practices across JP Morgan Chase's international operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in financial services or banking technology
• Proven track record of leading large-scale enterprise architecture projects in a global financial institution
• Deep expertise in cloud architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices design patterns
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in finance, including GDPR, PCI-DSS, and Basel III
• Experience managing cross-functional teams of 10+ members in agile environments
• Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's internal tools and platforms, such as proprietary trading systems
• Background in designing secure architectures for high-frequency trading or risk management systems
• Knowledge of blockchain or distributed ledger technologies in financial applications
• Prior leadership in digital transformation initiatives within a Tier 1 bank
