Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable architecture solutions for software applications using modern cloud-based technologies
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate architecture best practices into financial services projects
• Ensure architectures comply with industry regulations and JP Morgan's security standards
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies to enhance system performance and reliability
• Mentor junior architects and provide technical guidance on complex problem-solving
• Conduct architecture reviews and assessments to optimize existing systems for cost and efficiency
• Drive innovation in cloud migration strategies for legacy financial applications
• Partner with stakeholders to align architectural decisions with business objectives in risk, trading, and banking domains
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation and roadmaps for team reference

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in cloud-based technologies
• Proven track record in designing scalable architectures for financial services applications
• Deep expertise in modern cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in financial services (e.g., GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS)
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
• Experience with JP Morgan's internal tools and financial data platforms
• Knowledge of blockchain or distributed ledger technologies for fintech applications
• Prior work in high-frequency trading or risk management systems
