Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of target state architecture across multiple data platform domains, driving significant business impact for JP Morgan Chase
• Collaborate with business leaders, engineering teams, and compliance groups to align data architectures with strategic objectives in the financial services sector
• Define and implement scalable, secure data platforms that support high-volume transaction processing and analytics for global banking operations
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, such as cloud-native data solutions, to enhance efficiency and innovation in JP Morgan's data ecosystem
• Oversee architecture governance, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, risk management, and regulatory requirements
• Mentor junior architects and foster a culture of architectural excellence within the team
• Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations for new data tools and platforms relevant to financial services
• Partner with product owners to translate business needs into robust, future-proof data architectures
• Monitor and optimize data platform performance to support real-time decision-making in trading, risk, and customer services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on data platforms in financial services
• Proven track record in leading large-scale data architecture initiatives at a senior level
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with emphasis on data management and analytics
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in financial services, including GDPR, CCPA, and Basel III
• Experience in agile methodologies and cross-functional team leadership
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field or MBA
• Certification in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF) or cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect)
