Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable IAM solutions tailored for multi-cloud environments, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's security standards and financial regulatory requirements
• Develop and enforce IAM governance policies, including role-based access control (RBAC), just-in-time access, and least privilege principles to mitigate risks in banking operations
• Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and business teams to integrate IAM into cloud-native applications and microservices architectures
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for IAM systems, focusing on emerging threats like insider risks and supply chain vulnerabilities in the financial sector
• Oversee the implementation of identity federation, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) across hybrid cloud setups
• Drive innovation in IAM by evaluating and incorporating advanced technologies such as blockchain for identity verification and AI for behavioral analytics
• Mentor junior architects and provide technical leadership in agile sprints, ensuring secure and efficient delivery of IAM projects
• Monitor and audit IAM controls to maintain compliance with global financial regulations, preparing reports for senior stakeholders
• Partner with vendor teams to integrate third-party IAM tools while upholding JP Morgan's data sovereignty and privacy standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM) in cloud environments
• Proven expertise in architecting IAM solutions across multi-cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Deep knowledge of financial services regulations including SOX, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and FFIEC guidelines for secure access management
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in designing and implementing enterprise-scale IAM governance frameworks
• Strong understanding of zero-trust architecture and privileged access management (PAM) in high-stakes financial environments
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or cloud-specific IAM credentials (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's internal tools and processes for cloud security and compliance
• Background in financial services, particularly in banking or investment management sectors
• Familiarity with AI/ML-driven IAM solutions for anomaly detection and automated access reviews
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related discipline
• Hands-on experience with Okta, SailPoint, or Azure AD for enterprise IAM orchestration

Required Skills

• Expertise in cloud IAM platforms (AWS IAM, Azure AD, Google Cloud IAM)
• Proficiency in identity protocols like OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OpenID Connect
• Strong knowledge of encryption standards and key management in financial systems
• Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk) for IAM monitoring and alerting
• Skills in scripting and automation using Python, Terraform, or Ansible for IAM provisioning
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices for integrating security into CI/CD pipelines
• Analytical problem-solving for complex cybersecurity challenges
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations and technical documentation
• Leadership and team collaboration in fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks specific to finance (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Knowledge of zero-trust and SASE architectures
• Ability to conduct security architecture reviews and gap analyses
• Project management skills using Agile/Scrum methodologies
