Key Responsibilities

• Drive the design and evolution of target state data architectures across multiple domains, including risk, compliance, and client data management
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and senior leadership to align data strategies with JP Morgan Chase's global objectives
• Lead the assessment and modernization of legacy data systems to support scalable, secure financial operations
• Ensure architectural solutions comply with regulatory requirements and enhance data privacy in the banking sector
• Mentor junior architects and foster a culture of innovation in data practices within the firm
• Evaluate emerging technologies like big data platforms and cloud-native solutions for JP Morgan's enterprise needs
• Develop roadmaps for data integration and interoperability across JP Morgan's diverse business lines
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate risks in financial data handling
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to architect resilient data frameworks against evolving threats in finance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, enterprise architecture, or related roles within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable data architectures for large-scale financial systems
• Deep expertise in data modeling, data governance, and compliance with financial regulations such as GDPR, SOX, and Basel III
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in architecture initiatives at a global financial institution
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid data environments in banking
• Certification in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF) or data management (e.g., CDMP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a major investment bank like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration in data architectures for risk management and fraud detection
