Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain HSM-based infrastructure solutions to support secure cryptographic operations across JP Morgan Chase's global financial platforms
• Collaborate with agile teams to integrate HSM technologies into payment processing, trading systems, and data encryption workflows
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for financial data protection
• Troubleshoot and optimize HSM performance to handle high-throughput transactions in real-time banking environments
• Lead the evaluation and deployment of new HSM hardware and software upgrades, minimizing downtime in 24/7 operations
• Develop automation scripts and tools for HSM key management and lifecycle processes
• Mentor team members on best practices for infrastructure security in the financial sector
• Monitor and respond to security incidents involving cryptographic infrastructure
• Contribute to strategic planning for scalable, resilient infrastructure supporting JP Morgan's digital transformation initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on hardware security modules (HSM) and cryptographic systems
• Proven track record in designing and implementing secure infrastructure solutions in a financial services environment
• Strong understanding of compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, FIPS 140-2/3, and GDPR relevant to financial data security
• Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration in high-stakes environments
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific HSM certifications (e.g., Thales or Gemalto)
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex infrastructure projects with minimal supervision

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant technical field
• Experience with cloud-based HSM integrations (e.g., AWS CloudHSM or Azure Key Vault)
