Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-wide network infrastructure to support JP Morgan Chase's global financial operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across technology domains to resolve complex infrastructure challenges and drive business impact
  • Ensure network security, reliability, and scalability in compliance with financial industry regulations and internal standards
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the team
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for network vulnerabilities in high-volume trading environments
  • Integrate emerging technologies such as SDN and network automation to enhance operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in network infrastructure engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale network architectures in a financial services environment
  • Deep expertise in networking protocols, security standards, and compliance requirements such as PCI-DSS and ISO 27001
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in high-stakes, mission-critical projects
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments
  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive financial data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline
  • Certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent in network engineering and cybersecurity
