Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement security controls for GCP-based Data and AI/ML services to protect JPMC's financial data assets
  • Conduct threat assessments and vulnerability scans on public cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security best practices into AI/ML model development and deployment pipelines
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents in GCP environments, minimizing risks to JPMC's banking operations
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and automation scripts tailored to JPMC's cloud strategy
  • Perform regular audits and penetration testing on GCP services to identify and mitigate potential threats

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in security engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud security in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Proven experience securing data and AI/ML services in public cloud environments within the financial services sector
  • Deep knowledge of GCP security tools including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cloud Security Command Center, and VPC Service Controls
  • Experience with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and SOX relevant to financial institutions
  • Strong understanding of threat modeling, encryption, and secure coding practices for AI/ML workloads
