Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for GCP-based Data and AI/ML services to protect JPMC's financial data assets
• Conduct threat assessments and vulnerability scans on public cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security best practices into AI/ML model development and deployment pipelines
• Monitor and respond to security incidents in GCP environments, minimizing risks to JPMC's banking operations
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and automation scripts tailored to JPMC's cloud strategy
• Perform regular audits and penetration testing on GCP services to identify and mitigate potential threats
• Advise on secure architecture for data analytics and machine learning initiatives in the public cloud
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to industry standards like Basel III
• Mentor junior security engineers and contribute to JPMC's knowledge base on cloud security practices
• Stay abreast of emerging threats in cloud AI/ML and recommend proactive defenses for financial services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in security engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud security in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proven experience securing data and AI/ML services in public cloud environments within the financial services sector
• Deep knowledge of GCP security tools including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cloud Security Command Center, and VPC Service Controls
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and SOX relevant to financial institutions
• Strong understanding of threat modeling, encryption, and secure coding practices for AI/ML workloads
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and adhere to JPMC's information security policies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a large-scale financial institution like JPMC, handling sensitive customer data
• Certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer, CISSP, or CISM
• Background in securing AI/ML pipelines, including model training and inference in regulated environments
• Familiarity with JPMC's internal tools and processes for cloud governance and risk management
• Hands-on experience with integrating security into DevSecOps pipelines for GCP

Required Skills

• Expertise in GCP security services (IAM, KMS, Security Command Center)
• Proficiency in securing AI/ML workloads (TensorFlow, Kubeflow on GCP)
• Knowledge of encryption protocols and key management for financial data
• Experience with cloud-native tools like Terraform and Cloud Build for secure infrastructure
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation
• Understanding of network security in VPCs and hybrid cloud setups
• Familiarity with compliance tools and reporting for financial regulations
• Analytical problem-solving for threat detection and incident response
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Project management abilities to lead security initiatives
• Adaptability to evolving cloud threats in the fintech space
• Attention to detail in auditing and risk assessment
• Team leadership and mentoring in high-stakes environments
