Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI platforms that support JPMorgan Chase's financial services applications, including risk assessment and customer personalization
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into core banking systems
• Architect scalable, secure AI infrastructure ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in the financial sector
• Mentor and guide a team of software engineers in best practices for AI development and DevOps
• Optimize AI models for performance and efficiency in high-volume trading and transaction processing environments
• Implement monitoring, logging, and CI/CD pipelines for AI workloads to ensure reliability and rapid iteration
• Drive innovation by exploring emerging AI technologies to enhance fraud detection and predictive analytics
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure adherence to JPMorgan's engineering standards
• Contribute to the evolution of the firm's AI strategy, aligning with global business objectives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML platforms
• Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable AI infrastructure in a financial services environment
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations like GDPR and financial compliance standards (e.g., SOX, PCI-DSS)
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or related discipline
• Experience in financial services, particularly in risk management, fraud detection, or algorithmic trading
• Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) or AI/ML (e.g., Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer)
• Familiarity with MLOps tools like Kubeflow, MLflow, or SageMaker
• Prior work on generative AI models or large language models in production environments
