Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable software solutions for JPM Personal Investing platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards
• Lead the development of microservices architectures to support real-time investment data processing and user personalization
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and compliance teams to integrate advanced features like AI-driven portfolio recommendations
• Mentor and guide senior engineers in best practices for secure coding and system reliability in a high-stakes financial environment
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance platform performance, such as cloud-native tools and DevOps pipelines
• Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments to mitigate cybersecurity threats in investment applications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in architecture roles within financial services
• Proven track record of designing scalable, secure systems for high-volume transaction processing
• Deep expertise in cloud architectures, particularly AWS or Azure, with experience in microservices and API design
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in finance, including GDPR, PCI-DSS, and MiFID II
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments for investment platforms
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on risk management in financial applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Finance-related field
• Experience with JPMorgan Chase's technology stack or similar investment banking systems

• Prior work on personal investing platforms, including robo-advisory or digital wealth management tools
