Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and implementing innovative IAM solutions to enhance security and user experience in JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms
• Oversee the architecture and deployment of identity management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, compliance, and product stakeholders, to define project requirements and drive successful delivery
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
• Identify and mitigate security risks in access management processes, particularly for high-stakes financial services applications
• Optimize IAM workflows to support scalable operations across global banking divisions
• Conduct code reviews, implement best practices for secure software development, and ensure system reliability under high-load scenarios
• Stay abreast of emerging IAM technologies and integrate them into JP Morgan Chase's ecosystem to maintain competitive edge
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to align with organizational goals in the financial sector

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record in Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, including authentication, authorization, and access control in a financial services environment
• Experience with secure coding practices and compliance with regulations such as SOX, GDPR, and PCI-DSS
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, with IAM-specific integrations
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-impact projects on time
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with agile methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's internal tools or similar enterprise banking systems
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty
