Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable Java-based applications on AWS to support JP Morgan Chase's financial services platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex technical challenges in areas like payments, risk assessment, and client data management
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment within agile methodologies
• Integrate security and compliance standards into software solutions to meet regulatory requirements in the financial industry
• Optimize application performance and scalability to handle high-volume transactions in a 24/7 banking environment
• Contribute to architectural decisions for multi-technology ecosystems, including microservices and cloud-native architectures
• Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies to enhance business efficiency and customer experience at JP Morgan Chase
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines for reliable releases

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of professional software development experience with Java and related frameworks
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications on AWS cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of financial services domain, including regulatory compliance and secure data handling
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments within large-scale enterprise settings
• Demonstrated ability to drive business impact through innovative technical solutions

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
