Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust software solutions using Java, React, JavaScript, and AWS to support JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to drive business impact in areas like investment banking and asset management
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable codebases
• Tackle complex challenges spanning multiple technologies, including integrating legacy systems with modern cloud-native applications
• Implement and optimize AWS infrastructure to handle high-volume financial transactions with low latency
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security protocols in all development efforts
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to deliver iterative improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real-time, minimizing downtime for critical financial services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development
• Strong proficiency in Java, React, and JavaScript, including building scalable web applications
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
• Proven track record in financial services or high-stakes environments handling sensitive data
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile methodologies
• Deep understanding of secure coding practices and compliance standards like GDPR and SOX
