Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical software solutions that drive business outcomes in JP Morgan Chase's core banking operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and compliance experts, to architect scalable systems for financial services
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the team
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges across multiple technologies, ensuring robust performance in high-volume transaction environments
• Implement best practices for security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance in all engineering initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on building scalable applications in financial services
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams in delivering high-impact projects within a fast-paced environment
• Deep expertise in Java, Python, or similar programming languages, with experience in cloud-native architectures
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, risk management, and compliance in banking systems
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices in large-scale enterprise settings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex, cross-functional challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in developing trading platforms, risk analytics, or payment systems at a major financial institution
