Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of robust network solutions to support JP Morgan Chase's global financial operations
• Implement and optimize network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, data centers, and cloud integrations, ensuring high availability and low latency for trading and payment systems
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate network services with applications, driving innovation in fintech solutions
• Monitor and troubleshoot complex network issues, minimizing downtime in mission-critical banking environments
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline network provisioning and configuration management
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and security standards, conducting regular audits and risk assessments
• Mentor junior engineers and lead projects spanning multiple technologies, from legacy systems to cutting-edge AI-driven networks
• Analyze performance metrics and recommend upgrades to support scalable growth in JP Morgan's digital banking platforms
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to fortify network defenses against evolving threats in the financial sector

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on large-scale enterprise environments
• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure in financial services or high-stakes industries
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and security best practices
• Experience with automation tools and scripting for network management
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and comply with regulatory standards in banking

Preferred Qualifications
