Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable platform engineering solutions that support JP Morgan Chase's global financial operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate platform services with core banking applications, ensuring seamless data flow and security
• Drive innovation in infrastructure automation, leveraging tools like Terraform and Jenkins to optimize deployment processes in a high-stakes financial environment
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing within the team
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in platform systems handling high-volume financial transactions
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security standards for all platform components
• Contribute to strategic planning for platform evolution, aligning with JP Morgan Chase's digital transformation goals
• Monitor and maintain platform reliability, implementing monitoring solutions to support 24/7 financial services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on platform engineering and scalable systems
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams in developing and maintaining high-availability platforms in a financial services environment
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with experience in financial data security and compliance
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with agile methodologies and delivering projects in fast-paced, regulated industries like banking
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex, cross-functional challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
