Key Responsibilities

• Lead an agile team in developing and maintaining the Capital Analytics Platform, focusing on scalable React-based front-end solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality software
• Ensure engineering excellence by implementing best practices, code reviews, and automated testing within the platform
• Promote effective collaboration across global teams, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing
• Design and architect responsive, user-centric interfaces for financial analytics tools used by capital markets professionals
• Integrate front-end components with backend services, APIs, and data visualization libraries to support real-time analytics
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct performance reviews, and drive continuous improvement in team processes
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring compliance with JP Morgan's security and regulatory standards in financial services
• Contribute to the platform's roadmap, incorporating emerging technologies to enhance capital analytics capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role
• Proven expertise in React.js and modern front-end development frameworks
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience leading cross-functional teams
• Experience in financial services or fintech environments, particularly with data analytics platforms
• Demonstrated ability to ensure engineering best practices and code quality in high-stakes projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems and state management libraries like Redux
• Prior work on capital markets or analytics platforms in banking
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure in a financial context
• Certifications in agile leadership or software engineering (e.g., Scrum Master)

• Expertise in React.js, including hooks, components, and performance optimization
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end build tools like Webpack or Vite
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Experience with state management (e.g., Redux, MobX) and UI libraries (e.g., Material-UI, Ant Design)
• Agile leadership and scrum facilitation skills
