Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and AWS to support scalable financial applications
• Lead the implementation of GoLang/Java-based platform services for high-visibility projects at JPMorgan Chase
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant deployment of cloud resources in the financial sector
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in DevOps and IaC within agile sprints
• Optimize AWS environments for cost-efficiency and performance in handling transaction volumes
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production systems impacting banking operations
• Contribute to the evolution of platform engineering standards aligned with regulatory requirements
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to security protocols for financial data protection
• Integrate monitoring and logging tools to maintain system reliability in a 24/7 financial services environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on cloud platforms
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) and AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and VPC
• Strong experience in GoLang and/or Java for developing scalable backend services
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in agile environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in a financial services context
• Solid understanding of security best practices, compliance standards like GDPR and PCI-DSS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial technology or banking software development
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Terraform Associate
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes
• Prior work on high-availability systems handling sensitive financial data
• Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase's internal tools and platforms
