Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of SRE engineers in designing and implementing reliable infrastructure for liquidity risk monitoring systems at JP Morgan Chase
• Drive strategic planning to enhance site reliability, ensuring 99.99% uptime for critical financial risk platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including risk management, software development, and compliance to align on reliability goals
• Identify and mitigate operational risks in real-time liquidity reporting, adhering to global regulatory requirements
• Implement observability tools and monitoring strategies to proactively detect and resolve issues in high-volume transaction environments
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement in SRE practices
• Optimize resource allocation and automation to support scalable liquidity risk analytics
• Conduct post-incident reviews and develop action plans to prevent recurrence in financial systems
• Partner with senior stakeholders to influence technology roadmaps for enterprise risk management
• Ensure all SRE initiatives comply with JP Morgan's cybersecurity and data governance policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure operations within financial services
• Proven track record in managing SRE teams focused on high-availability systems for risk management
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with emphasis on financial data security
• Experience with liquidity risk systems or real-time financial monitoring tools
• Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop engineering teams
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards like Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and SR 11-7 for liquidity risk

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field or MBA with finance focus
• Experience in agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for financial applications
• Certification in SRE practices (e.g., Google SRE) or cloud architecture
• Prior work at a major financial institution on risk and compliance platforms
• Familiarity with machine learning applications in predictive risk modeling
