Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multiple software engineering teams as a technical coach, providing guidance on DevOps best practices and architectural decisions
• Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines to support rapid deployment of financial applications while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure for high-availability systems in JP Morgan's global banking operations
• Drive adoption of cloud-native technologies and automation to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime in mission-critical services
• Conduct code reviews, technical audits, and performance optimizations for DevOps tools and processes
• Advise on security integrations, including vulnerability scanning and secret management, to protect sensitive financial data
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and implementing innovative solutions in agile sprints
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with business objectives in the financial services domain
• Monitor and troubleshoot production environments using advanced observability tools to maintain system reliability
• Contribute to the development of internal standards and documentation for DevOps practices across JP Morgan Chase teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on DevOps practices in a financial services environment
• Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring technical teams in agile methodologies
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with hands-on experience in infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools
• Experience with security compliance in financial systems, including PCI-DSS and regulatory standards
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a high-stakes banking environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a large financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Terraform Associate
• Background in implementing observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack in production environments
• Familiarity with financial trading systems or risk management platforms
• Advanced knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for DevOps automation

• Proficiency in DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
