Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multiple software engineering teams, providing technical coaching and guidance to ensure high-quality code delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical roadmaps for financial products and services at JP Morgan Chase
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions supporting banking operations, risk analysis, and customer platforms
• Drive adoption of best practices in software engineering, including CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, and secure coding standards
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security protocols in all engineering initiatives
• Identify and mitigate technical risks in projects involving high-volume financial transactions and data processing
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within teams, promoting agile methodologies tailored to financial services
• Conduct performance reviews, talent development, and succession planning for engineering staff
• Partner with product managers and architects to integrate emerging technologies like cloud-native services and AI into core banking systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
• Proven track record of leading multiple engineering teams in delivering complex software solutions in the financial services sector
• Deep expertise in agile methodologies and DevOps practices for high-stakes financial applications
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, SOX, and PCI-DSS in banking environments
• Experience in mentoring and developing technical talent within a global organization like JP Morgan Chase
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on digital transformation in finance

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or financial technologies
• Prior experience working at a major financial institution, ideally with exposure to trading systems or risk management platforms
