Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of software solutions using Java, Python, Databricks, and AWS to support JP Morgan Chase's finance technology initiatives
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical architectures
• Mentor and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Ensure all solutions adhere to JP Morgan's stringent security, compliance, and risk management standards in the financial services domain
• Optimize data pipelines and analytics workflows on Databricks to handle large-scale financial datasets efficiently
• Integrate AWS services to build cloud-native applications that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Drive agile sprints, code reviews, and testing processes to deliver high-quality software on time
• Identify and implement emerging technologies to solve complex challenges in financial reporting and analytics
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and product managers, to align tech solutions with business goals
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments to maintain 24/7 availability for critical finance operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in Java and/or Python development
• Proven experience with Databricks for data processing and analytics in a financial services environment
• Hands-on expertise in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and SageMaker
• Strong understanding of financial systems, data security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOX)
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile methodologies within a large-scale enterprise setting
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, high-performance applications handling sensitive financial data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the banking or financial services sector, particularly with core banking systems or risk management tools
