Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications on AWS infrastructure
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and monitoring, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's risk and compliance standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and data scientists, to deliver innovative solutions for financial services like trading platforms and risk analytics
• Mentor and coach team members on best practices in Python coding, AWS architecture, and agile methodologies
• Drive the adoption of cloud-native technologies to optimize costs and scalability for high-volume financial transactions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
• Proficiency in Python programming, including experience with frameworks like Django or Flask
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS for building scalable cloud applications
• Strong understanding of financial services technologies, including secure data handling and compliance with regulations like GDPR and SOX
