Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized AI architecture expertise to influence target state architectures across multiple teams at JPMorgan Chase
• Design and evangelize global AI solutions that align with the firm's strategic objectives in banking and investment services
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and compliance teams to architect secure, scalable AI platforms for financial applications
• Lead the evaluation and integration of AI technologies to enhance risk modeling, customer personalization, and operational efficiency
• Ensure AI architectures comply with regulatory standards and internal governance policies at JPMorgan Chase
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to the firm's AI Center of Excellence
• Assess emerging AI trends and recommend innovations to maintain competitive advantage in the financial industry
• Develop reference architectures for AI use cases such as predictive analytics in trading and fraud detection
• Facilitate architecture reviews and provide technical leadership in agile delivery environments
• Drive cross-regional alignment of AI solutions to support JPMorgan Chase's global operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML solutions in financial services
• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable AI architectures in regulated environments
• Deep expertise in AI technologies including machine learning frameworks, neural networks, and generative AI
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with emphasis on secure financial deployments
• Strong understanding of financial regulations like GDPR, SOX, and Basel III as they apply to AI systems
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders in a global banking context

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications in AI/ML (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer)
• Experience with AI governance and ethical AI practices in the financial sector
• Prior work at a major financial institution on AI-driven risk management or fraud detection systems
• Knowledge of quantum computing or emerging AI trends relevant to fintech
• MBA or equivalent business acumen in financial services

• Expertise in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Proficiency in cloud-native AI services (e.g., SageMaker, Vertex AI)
• Strong knowledge of data engineering tools (Apache Spark, Kafka) for financial data pipelines
• Experience with DevOps practices for AI (MLOps, CI/CD for models)
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity in AI systems, including model security and bias mitigation
• Architecture design using microservices, APIs, and event-driven patterns
• Analytical problem-solving for complex financial datasets
