Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cybersecurity architectures for new and existing products, applications, and technologies across JP Morgan Chase's diverse portfolio
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and compliance teams to embed security best practices into the development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with financial industry standards
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in financial systems and recommend mitigation strategies
• Mentor and guide junior architects and teams in adopting secure coding and architectural patterns specific to banking applications
• Evaluate and integrate emerging cybersecurity technologies, such as zero-trust models and advanced encryption, to protect sensitive financial data
• Develop and maintain architecture blueprints that comply with regulatory requirements like PCI-DSS and SOX for JP Morgan's global operations
• Drive security reviews and audits for high-impact projects, providing expert guidance to minimize risks in transaction processing and customer data handling
• Foster innovation by researching industry trends and proposing enhancements to JP Morgan's cybersecurity framework
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to demonstrate adherence to financial services cybersecurity mandates

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within financial services or regulated industries
• Proven track record of designing and implementing secure architectures for complex, large-scale systems in a financial environment
• Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX, and FFIEC guidelines specific to banking and financial services
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments to deliver cybersecurity solutions for products and applications
• Expertise in threat modeling, risk assessment, and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
• Current certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC in cybersecurity architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related discipline
• Experience working at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar, with exposure to global banking operations
• Familiarity with cloud security architectures in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, tailored to financial data protection
