Key Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive UAT testing for Card Installments projects, ensuring all test scenarios are covered and defects are identified early
  • Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices aligned with product requirements
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to validate functionality and business rules in installment payment features
  • Perform regression testing and end-to-end validation to support seamless deployment in J.P. Morgan's card services portfolio
  • Document test results, defects, and resolutions using tools like JIRA or HP ALM, providing clear reports to leadership
  • Ensure adherence to financial industry standards, including risk assessments and compliance checks during testing phases
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive product delivery efficiency
  • Mentor junior team members on testing best practices and contribute to process improvements in the Product Delivery team
  • Analyze test coverage gaps and recommend enhancements to improve product quality in consumer banking solutions
  • Support production validation and post-go-live monitoring for Card Installments features

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or user acceptance testing (UAT) within the financial services industry
  • Proven experience in executing test cases for payment products, card services, or installment solutions
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes in a banking environment
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as PCI-DSS and data privacy regulations in financial services
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams across global time zones
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with J.P. Morgan Chase's internal tools or similar enterprise banking systems
  • Certification in ISTQB or equivalent testing qualifications
  • Knowledge of card installment products and consumer lending in the fintech space
  • Prior exposure to automation testing tools in a UAT context
