Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of UAT cycles for product features in an Agile framework, ensuring high-quality delivery to customers
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and retesting
  • Facilitate UAT sessions, including test planning, execution, and reporting on test coverage and results
  • Ensure compliance with financial industry standards and J.P. Morgan's risk management protocols during testing
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes to enhance user experience and product reliability
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices in UAT and Agile methodologies
  • Analyze test outcomes to provide insights on product quality and potential risks
  • Support integration testing between systems in the J.P. Morgan ecosystem
  • Contribute to post-release reviews and retrospectives to refine future delivery processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within Agile environments
  • Proven track record in financial services, particularly in banking or payment systems
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
  • Experience with defect tracking tools and test management systems
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in ISTQB or similar testing qualifications
  • Experience with J.P. Morgan's internal tools or similar enterprise financial platforms
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial services (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS)
  • Prior exposure to cloud-based testing environments like AWS or Azure
  • Familiarity with automation testing frameworks in an Agile setup
