Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect secure product solutions that protect JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms from evolving cyber threats
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and compliance teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing financial products, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards
• Lead the implementation of security controls for cloud-based and on-premises architectures supporting global banking operations
• Provide expert guidance on secure coding practices and vulnerability management across development teams
• Drive innovation in product security strategies, incorporating emerging technologies like AI and machine learning for fraud detection
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to the firm's cybersecurity roadmap, focusing on resilience in financial services
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis to enhance product defenses
• Ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase's internal policies and external regulations like Basel III and MiFID II
• Present security architecture recommendations to senior stakeholders, balancing risk mitigation with business agility

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years focused on product security architecture in financial services
• Proven track record of designing and implementing secure software architectures in a regulated environment like banking
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and SOX, with experience ensuring compliance in global financial operations
• Expertise in threat modeling, risk assessment, and secure coding practices for enterprise-scale applications
• Experience with cloud security architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure) in a financial context
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Big Four consulting firm or major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Familiarity with blockchain or fintech security innovations relevant to investment banking
• Advanced knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in secure environments
• Prior leadership in cross-functional teams delivering secure products for high-stakes financial transactions
