Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance and reliability for JPMorgan Chase's global financial operations
• Implement and manage SD-WAN deployments across data centers, branches, and cloud environments to support secure transaction processing
• Monitor and troubleshoot SD-WAN infrastructure to ensure 99.99% uptime for critical banking applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity and application development to integrate SD-WAN with financial systems
• Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning for SD-WAN networks handling high-volume financial data traffic
• Develop and maintain documentation for SD-WAN configurations compliant with regulatory standards in the financial sector
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for network disruptions impacting trading platforms or customer services
• Evaluate and recommend emerging SD-WAN technologies to enhance connectivity for JPMorgan Chase's international footprint
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices for SD-WAN in secure financial environments
• Ensure adherence to JPMorgan Chase's security policies and perform regular audits of SD-WAN setups

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on SD-WAN technologies
• Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing SD-WAN solutions in large-scale enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and IPsec
• Experience with SD-WAN platforms such as Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud, or Silver Peak
• Familiarity with financial services regulations and compliance standards like PCI-DSS and SOX
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive financial data

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or vendor-specific SD-WAN certifications
• Experience in hybrid cloud environments integrating SD-WAN with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Prior work in the financial services industry, particularly in high-availability trading or banking networks
• Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Python scripting for network orchestration
• Master's degree in a relevant technical field
