Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test automation strategies for JP Morgan Chase's product portfolio
• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to integrate automation into agile sprints
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in testing processes
• Mentor and guide junior automation engineers on best practices and tools
• Ensure test automation aligns with financial regulatory standards such as SOX and GDPR
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive root cause analysis in financial applications
• Oversee the adoption of emerging automation technologies to enhance efficiency
• Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation in high-stakes banking environments
• Report on automation metrics and KPIs to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in software testing and test automation
• Proven experience leading test automation strategies in agile environments
• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and tools in financial services
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in banking and financial sectors

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical discipline
• Experience in automating tests for core banking or payment systems
• Certification in ISTQB or similar testing methodologies
• Prior work at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
