Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and maintain a robust pipeline of mortgage lending clients through networking, referrals, and community events in the Nampa and Boise markets
  • Conduct comprehensive financial consultations to assess client needs and recommend tailored home financing solutions, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans
  • Collaborate with JP Morgan Chase's underwriting and processing teams to ensure seamless loan origination and timely closings
  • Drive sales performance by achieving or exceeding monthly and quarterly origination targets while adhering to compliance standards
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with real estate agents, builders, and financial advisors to generate high-quality leads
  • Utilize CRM tools and data analytics to track client interactions, forecast sales, and optimize lending strategies
  • Educate clients on mortgage products, interest rates, and market trends to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Ensure all loan applications comply with JP Morgan Chase's risk management policies and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving lending practices and JP Morgan's product offerings

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or home financing within the financial services industry
  • Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license with NMLS registration
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in residential mortgage origination
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, including Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and RESPA
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, underwriting processes, and loan structuring
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients or jumbo loan products at a major financial institution
