Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product roadmap for Service Mesh and Service Registry platforms, aligning with JP Morgan Chase's strategic goals in digital transformation
• Lead and inspire a high-performing team of product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions for microservices orchestration
• Monitor emerging market trends in cloud-native technologies and financial services to identify opportunities for product enhancements and competitive differentiation
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and compliance teams to ensure products meet security, scalability, and regulatory standards in a banking context
• Drive product strategy for service discovery, traffic management, and observability, optimizing for low-latency trading and secure data flows
• Engage with internal clients across JP Morgan's lines of business, such as Investment Banking and Consumer & Community Banking, to gather requirements and measure success
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor partnerships to accelerate product development and deployment
• Champion agile methodologies and foster a culture of innovation while mitigating risks in mission-critical financial infrastructure
• Report on product performance metrics, including adoption rates and ROI, to senior leadership to inform enterprise-wide decisions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in technology platforms or infrastructure products
• Proven track record leading product roadmaps in cloud-native environments, including service mesh and registry technologies
• Deep understanding of financial services regulations and compliance requirements, such as GDPR and PCI-DSS
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in a large-scale enterprise setting, ideally in banking or fintech
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems in high-stakes financial environments

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced business degree
• Experience with Istio, Consul, or similar service mesh and registry tools in production environments
• Prior leadership role in a global financial institution, with exposure to capital markets or payments systems
• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or Kubernetes
• Demonstrated success in driving product innovations that enhance operational resilience in regulated industries

• Expertise in service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and service registries (e.g., Consul, Eureka)
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration for cloud-native applications
• Strong product management skills, including roadmap planning and prioritization
• Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and API management in financial systems
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, including zero-trust models for banking environments
• Excellent leadership and team-building abilities to motivate diverse global teams
• Analytical skills for monitoring market trends and translating them into product features
• Stakeholder management and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Agile and DevOps methodologies, with familiarity in CI/CD pipelines
• Problem-solving in high-pressure, regulated settings like financial services
