Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable infrastructure for Corporate Oversight and Legal Technology platforms at JP Morgan Chase
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security to ensure 99.99% uptime for critical financial governance systems
• Automate deployment pipelines and incident response processes to support agile development in a regulated financial environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, and engineering to integrate SRE best practices
• Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures aligned with financial regulations
• Optimize cloud resources and costs while maintaining compliance with SOX, GDPR, and internal JP Morgan policies
• Develop and maintain observability tools to track metrics, logs, and traces for governance technology applications
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure rapid resolution of issues impacting financial oversight systems
• Contribute to error budgets and SLO/SLI definitions tailored to the high-stakes demands of banking technology
• Mentor junior engineers on SRE principles specific to the financial services industry

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or software engineering roles
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on financial services environments
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Go for automation and scripting
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Understanding of regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, SOX, and financial industry regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment handling sensitive financial data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Corporate Oversight, Governance Technology, or Legal Technology within a banking or financial institution
• Prior work at JP Morgan Chase or similar Tier 1 financial services firm
• Certification in cloud reliability (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) or SRE practices
• Familiarity with bar-raised performance standards from high-impact tech roles
• Advanced knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible
