Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure to support CCB Risk Technology platforms
  • Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure 99.99% uptime
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate deployments and optimize CI/CD pipelines for risk modeling applications
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures in line with financial regulatory standards
  • Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerting systems using tools like Splunk or Datadog
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and data privacy regulations in all reliability engineering practices
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical risk technology systems
  • Optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency in cloud environments while maintaining performance SLAs
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the SRE team at JPMorgan Chase

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or DevOps roles
  • Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining high-availability systems in a financial services environment
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting in Python or Bash

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant technical field
  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in risk management or compliance
