Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions for financial systems
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and security standards in banking applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a fast-paced production environment
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
  • Integrate applications with core banking systems and third-party APIs
  • Optimize code for performance and reliability in high-volume transaction processing
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance JP Morgan's digital banking platforms
  • Document technical specifications and support knowledge sharing within the team
  • Assist in the deployment and monitoring of applications in cloud-based infrastructures

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in software development, preferably in financial services
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
