Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI/ML infrastructure to support commercial and investment banking applications at JPMorgan Chase
• Build and optimize ML pipelines for data ingestion, model training, and deployment in secure financial environments
• Collaborate with data scientists and banking teams to integrate AI solutions into core business processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Implement monitoring and observability tools for ML models to ensure reliability and performance in high-volume trading and risk management systems
• Contribute to the evolution of JPMorgan's AI/ML platform, focusing on automation, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold code quality and security in financial software
• Stay abreast of emerging AI/ML technologies and apply them to solve complex challenges in investment banking
• Work with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business objectives, such as fraud detection and predictive analytics
• Ensure all AI/ML developments adhere to JPMorgan's data privacy and ethical AI guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 3-5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI/ML infrastructure
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ for developing scalable ML systems
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly in deploying ML models
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and data security standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX)
• Proven track record of building and maintaining production-grade AI/ML pipelines
• Ability to work collaboratively in agile teams within a high-stakes financial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science
• Experience in the financial services industry, especially in commercial or investment banking
• Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase's internal tools and frameworks for AI/ML development
• Certifications in cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning) or DevOps
• Prior contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or publications in relevant conferences
