Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agile teams to design and develop secure, scalable software solutions for asset management platforms
• Build and maintain applications that support portfolio management, risk assessment, and client reporting in the financial services sector
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment using CI/CD pipelines
• Integrate systems with JP Morgan Chase's global infrastructure, ensuring compliance with data security and regulatory standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
• Work closely with product owners, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to enhance asset management tools
• Ensure all developments adhere to JP Morgan's risk management and cybersecurity protocols
• Support the team's agile processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 2-4 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages
• Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative team environments
• Knowledge of financial services, particularly asset management systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment in Hong Kong
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure in financial applications
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in asset management (e.g., MiFID II, HKMA guidelines)
• Prior work in a global financial institution
• Certifications in software engineering or cybersecurity
