Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing large volumes of financial data
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver secure and reliable technology solutions for market-leading products
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions using tools like Spark and Kafka
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with financial regulations such as GDPR and SEC standards
• Optimize data architectures for performance and cost-efficiency in cloud environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production systems
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data engineering
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
