Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java backend and React frontend for JP Morgan's financial platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and compliance experts to deliver secure, scalable solutions
  • Implement and optimize features that handle high-throughput financial data processing and real-time analytics
  • Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and integrate security best practices to mitigate risks in banking systems
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to drive iterative improvements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments supporting global financial services
  • Contribute to the evolution of technology stacks by evaluating new tools and frameworks suitable for the financial industry
  • Ensure applications comply with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and internal JP Morgan policies
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Java and modern web technologies including React
  • Experience working in agile methodologies and collaborative team environments
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and data privacy regulations in financial services
