Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to design, develop, and deploy secure software solutions for financial products
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices in software engineering

  • Integrate applications with financial systems, APIs, and databases while adhering to compliance standards
  • Contribute to the scalability and performance optimization of technology platforms handling high-volume transactions
  • Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in line with JP Morgan's risk management framework
  • Support the continuous improvement of development processes and tools within the team
  • Engage in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implementing fixes in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of professional software development experience
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and secure coding practices
  • Knowledge of financial services regulations and data security standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS)
