Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications using AWS and Spark for processing large-scale financial datasets
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver secure, scalable technology products that support JP Morgan Chase's market-leading services
• Implement and optimize data pipelines for real-time analytics in trading and risk assessment
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to security best practices in financial systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments to maintain system reliability
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance platform capabilities for global banking operations
• Contribute to architectural decisions for cloud-native solutions that drive innovation in wealth management and payments
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within the Hyderabad team
• Monitor and improve application performance using tools like AWS CloudWatch and Spark metrics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of professional software development experience with Java
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
• Proficiency in Apache Spark for big data processing
• Experience working in agile methodologies and collaborative teams
• Knowledge of secure coding practices in financial systems
• Ability to design scalable solutions for high-volume financial data

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
