Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL code for database procedures, functions, and packages to support JP Morgan Chase's financial applications
  • Collaborate with agile teams to design scalable and secure database solutions for market-leading technology products
  • Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues in high-volume transaction environments
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements in all code implementations
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines
  • Integrate PL/SQL components with front-end applications and other backend services
  • Analyze business requirements from financial stakeholders to translate them into technical database designs
  • Monitor and maintain database integrity, including data migration and backup strategies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 2-4 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on PL/SQL

  • Experience with secure coding practices and compliance with financial regulations such as GDPR and PCI-DSS
