Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agile teams to design and develop scalable React-based applications for financial products
• Implement secure, high-performance front-end solutions using React.js and related technologies
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure quality and compliance
• Integrate React applications with backend services and APIs in a microservices architecture
• Contribute to the evolution of technology products that support JP Morgan Chase's global banking operations
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance in production environments
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices for secure software delivery
• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to deliver market-leading solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2-5 years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative team environments
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices in financial systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated industry like banking
• UK work authorization and ability to be based in Glasgow
