Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agile teams to design, develop, and deploy secure software releases for JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and rollback processes in a scalable manner
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security best practices in all release activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical banking services
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform to support cloud-native applications
• Monitor release performance and optimize pipelines for efficiency in high-throughput financial systems
• Mentor junior engineers on release engineering practices and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to enhance code quality and reliability
• Integrate security scanning tools into the release process to protect sensitive financial data
• Support on-call rotations to handle urgent release-related incidents in a 24/7 global operation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 2-3 years of experience in software engineering or release engineering roles
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools in a financial services environment
• Experience with secure coding practices and compliance standards like SOC 2 and PCI-DSS
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Groovy
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
